Adult Sunday School Classes
College and Career
Teacher: Tina Manser and Robyn Kelly
Location: Paul's Office
Description: The College and Career class is made up of young adults ages 18 through 30. Most are currently enrolled in either a university or they are beginning the first stages of adult life. The goal of this class is to provide a place for young adults to connect to the church during this time of transition and mobility in their lives - providing a place to help them grow spiritually and make decisions based on God's word.
Quest
Teacher: Ron and Debbie Parriman
Location: Modular- Front Right
Description: We are on a quest to learn more and more about how to live the Christian life and win others to Him. The people who attend our class range in age from college students to "older folks." The age differences lends itself to great interaction with each other and intriguing discussions about our topic of study.
Connections
Teacher: Shane and Linda Hughes
Location: Modular- Front Right
Description: In Connections, we hope to connect with God through studies of the Word, fellowship, and service outreach projects. Linda Hughes is currently leading in a series, the Forgotten God, which teaches us how to live under the power of the Holy Spirit.
Ladies Class
Teacher: Hazel Blakenship
Location: Across from Prayer Room
Description: The senior ladies class follows the curriculum designated by the Nazarene Church. The class usually has 8 to 10 women attending every Sunday. The conversation is both interesting and enjoyable as most of the women have varied opinions as we study each lesson. On occasion, class gets drawn away from weekly curriculum to discuss local and national events, recipes, and, of course, our grandchildren. All ladies attending are courteous and understanding to opinions of the weekly Bible lessons and the other topics of interest.
Seniors
Teacher: Kim Lord
Location: Prayer Room
Description: This class is made of retired men and women who are devoted to serving the Lord and continuing their relationship with Jesus Christ.
